GIS E4 Compliant Gas Airbag

The E4 range of airbags is designed and manufactured to meet GIS/E4 standards for use with the ALH System 1 flowstopping equipment. The range is also compatible with other flowstopping systems that require gas industry-approved flowstopping airbags.

What is Flowstopping?

Flowstopping is a safe, easy-to-use, and cost-effective system.  They are used for maintaining, repairing, and modifying low-pressure distribution networks while preserving the continuity of supply. The entire procedure is gas-free and carried out through an arrangement of valves.  Airbags create a seal to prevent gas flow beyond the airbag.
